Making an apartment a home.

Justin and I, before we were married, both lived on our own in 2 bedroom apartments. After we got married, we thought it'd be fine to move into a 1 bedroom apartment.  Ha!  We were busting at the seams! But after 6 months, we're getting used to it and have gotten rid of a lot we didn't need.

One of the things that I love and hate is the open floor plan. I really like how the kitchen, living room and dining room are all in one giant room. It makes it feel very big and open.  But it makes it really hard to arrange all that furniture in such a small space. Especially when we have 2 couches and had 2 dining room tables.

Our furniture gets rearranged probably every month and half because I just haven't decided which way feels good.

Here's how it looked when we got back from our Honeymoon and our gifts were EVERYWHERE. I know, it's such a mess.

We were pretty excited to open a Keurig! - Just had to throw that in there. 

Here it was at Christmas time, festive and happy.

Now it looks like this:  fresh and clean for Spring time. With a few new touches.

Things are starting to come together and we have really enjoyed living here in our first year of marriage!
